Tavelli Learning Garden

Interested in volunteering?

The Tavelli learning garden is an inclusive space for outdoor experiential hands-on learning. It is an opportunity for our students to get their hands dirty and learn about and try fresh fruits and vegetables.

Through engaging with the learning garden, students foster a sense of stewardship and curiosity through senses and interactions with nature.

Educational opportunities include learning about pollinators.

  • Learn more about Bees thanks to our 2022/2023 4th grade students!

    Every year, 4th grade students participate in project-based learning in which they actively engage with the real world. The 4th grade focus this year was on the declining bee population. They learned all about the important role bees play in our food and ecosystem. Then they learned all about how quickly the bees are dying, especially bees native to Colorado.
